ABOUT THE ARTIST
Natalie has been studying, performing, and teaching middle eastern dance for over a decade. She is a lifelong artist-athlete who brings soulful joy to her live performances and a dedicated, thoughtful approach to her lessons.
Natalie is a multiple award-winning performer who earned her Bachelors degree in Dance with a minor in Kinesiology from Humboldt State University. With foundation in ballet, jazz, and modern, she has also studied Contemporary, Tap, Hula, West African, Tahitian, classical Indian, classical Persian, Flamenco, Turkish (Orientale & Romani), and Hip-Hop.
For several years, Natalie danced professionally both as a soloist and core member of the Ya Habibi Dance Company, performing in dance concerts, festivals, corporate events, community fairs, restaurants, weddings, birthday parties, and special events.
Natalie is a certified personal trainer and certified group fitness instructor through the American Council on Exercise. She is a certified instructor of Sharqui® the Bellydance Workout. She offers fun and effective bellydance fitness classes in addition to classic bellydance classes that delve deeper into this empowering, ancient art form.
